LENA BRETHAUER (NEE SIKORSKI) After a lengthy illness, on Monday, July 3, 2000, Lena Brethauer passed away at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Brethauer on December 12, 1985. Lena is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Eleanor and Robert Dreger of Winnipeg; granddaughters, Jackie and Kim, Vancouver; sister Anne Sherwin, Toronto; sisters-in-law, Stephanie Sykes, Cambridge, Olga Brethauer, Winnipeg, Alice Brethauer, Garcon, ON; nieces and nephews. As per Lenas request, there will be no funeral service. Private family burial at Holy Family Cemetery. The family thanks each and everyone of the staff and volunteers of Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their excellent care of Mom and for their friendship and compassion to both of us.
